Oven BBQ Brisket
8 pound beef brisket
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz water
12 oz Chef Pascal Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce
In a mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Trim excess fat from the brisket. Rub both sides of the brisket with seasonings.
Place the brisket in a large baking pan and add water and bake for 5 hours. Remove from the oven, add Chef Pascal Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce, cover with foil and return to the oven and bake for 3 more hours at 250 degrees. Remove the pan from the oven, slice the brisket and cover with the Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce and serve with roasted red skin potatoes.
